Denmark has an enormous wealth of folk tales and folk songs, collected in the 19.th. century and the beginning of the 20th. The audience is invited in to the fable world of old times.

Mythological stories of high age and poetic beauty. Connect the North with South, East and West through their mythological imagery, at the same time entertaining the listeners.

Folk tales from Persia to West Denmark
The audience is brought from far away Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia, across the Middle East to the meagre lands of West Denmark. Exciting stories, full of profound and witty reflections on man and his existence

Despite the very different origins of the tales mentioned above, they all celebrate the same human qualities: fellow feeling, generosity, courage. – Qualities, which are only to often - and sadly - lacking. That might well be one of the reasons, why the old folk tale genre is still vividly alive.
It represents, what one might call ”Entertaining Wisdom”.
